The blue prints of any good story
Blue prints are essential in any great movie. It allows to you to plan your shots in live action and plan your ideas in a more malleable medium for animation. And while the finished product may look very different, the energy and heart of your story is born in these images.
This was my first animatic done, and it's all thanks to the program at Vanarts.

Took a few months (and liters) of blood, sweat, and tears, but I've finally created a watchable animatic short for Manhood; a cartoon idea I've been working with for years. It's far from perfect and I still have a long, humbling road ahead of me if I truly want to make this into an animated series one day, but it's a step forward.
