ORION

I recently did some logo mock ups for Orion Entertainment, a Seattle business that provides DJ-ing and entertainment services for parties in the area.

VERSION 1

In my first version I wanted to explore the original roots of Orion using the constellation. While giving a sense of mystique and stature, it did little to advertise the musical aspect of the company.

I then focused on the Ion part of the title. If emphasized properly, it could add a sense of energy to the brand. I kept the star in the center to try and incorporate both the original name and the three stars of the constellation, now orbiting the center- to symbolize togetherness, collectivity. However, while the circle resembled a DJ scratch table, it was not clear enough for my client.

Version 3

I turned my focus towards emphasizing the DJ scratch table more and changed the Typography for Orion into music levels, giving the same energized feel, but with a music focused center.
